| Bring It Back / Mates of State | |

One plays the drums, the other does keyboards. Their songs are cheerful and fun, their harmonies infectuous. If they were brother and sister instead of husband and wife, they could almost be a less syrupy version of The Carpenters. On second thought, put Richard and Karen out of your mind. Mates of State are nothing like that. Forget I even mentioned it. |
