What you're about to read is a collection of pointers to some of the music I've discovered on the iTunes Music Store, music I like enough that I want to share it. If you're an iPod owner and an iTunes fan (and if you aren't, what are you doing here?), maybe you'll find something new. Click on any of the CD covers to bounce over to the store and sample a few tracks. And then maybe stop by my other blog for a few well chosen words (and maybe a random snark or two).RSS feed

We'll Pick Up the Pieces Next Time / Angle
We'll Pick Up the Pieces Next Time I guess this is what I get for complaining constantly about overproduced albums. We'll Pick Up the Pieces Next Time is minimalist to a fault, to the point that in most tracks it's hard to pick out a melodic line. I'd describe Angle's music as a downer, which I mean in a nonjudgmental way. It's the kind of thing I'll enjoy when I'm in the mood for a good emotional wallow. Which, thankfully, doesn't happen all that often lately. Maybe there's something to be said for getting older. Or is it lately being un-unemployed that makes the difference?
