PDT This whole "world" music category has it's problems, eh? Pink Martini is from Portland, and they're Americans. But because they're so unbelievably ... something, they can sing in other languages. Thus they're world? I dunno, it's just my .02. I agree about Que Sera Sera. Creeps me out. Love the Sympathique track right after on that same disc ... a song so good my kids sing it, even though they're far too young to understand decadence. |
