PDT Hey I noticed there’s no punk section here, not that I was ever the greatest fan in any case . . . . but even as a big fan of British rock music, I’m unsure if Johnny Rotten of The Sex Pistols was still in punk mode when responding to reporters about fan Mick ‘Simply Red' Hucknall's claim to have been among the crowd at a Pistols gig in Manchester in June ‘76. Pistols lead singer Johnny Rotten disputed this saying "That ugly orange ponce Mick Hucknall said he was at our gig, but I never saw no ginger twats in the crowd."
