PDT How to get that kid back? Wish I knew. Maybe by reading some of the authors who've followed in Heinlein's footsteps? David Gerrold, Spider Robinson, John Varley, John Scalsi -- and lord knows how many I'm leaving out -- all remind me in one way or another of Heinlein, and manage to remind me, even if only for a moment, of what it was like to be that kid. |
